Today, I am filled with excitement. I am happy, I feel great! And why is that? It is because I know I can be if I want to be.
Anyway, starting from this entry… I will use a “question” and “answer” dialogue type of entries in order to help people understand this better. Now, let us tackle one of the most fundamental question of mankind: “What is our purpose in life?”
There is a difference between “our purpose” and “our soul’s purpose” in life. Our purpose in life is to become “Who We Choose to Be”. We are constantly doing this by using our greatest power… which is through “thinking”. Everything we think, we attract to ourselves and it becomes reality. Now, our “soul’s purpose” in life, is to experience “Who We Really Are”. And “Who We Really Are” is God.
Wait wait wait… are you saying that we are God Himself?
Yes. We are God Herself.
But wait… this does not make any sense. How can we be God, if God is perfect and we are not? We are sinners by nature and we are only human.
First and foremost, we are all perfect. Nothing is impossible. Its just that… you “think” you are not perfect and that there are things impossible to accomplish. The reason you think this way, is because what you call “society” made you think that way. Society teaches you that in life, there are “winners” and “losers”. What happens is… most people “made” this a reality by being a part of that system. If you are one of those “winners”, then tendency is.. you do not care because you are benefitting from it. But if you are one of the “losers”, you will feel that it is not right, you feel that something has to be done… unfortunately, you are powerless to do so… because the majority does not care.
Going back to the point, we are God since we can create anything we want. We can have anything we want. I will give more examples here. Just as it is… there is no such thing as “society”. There is no such thing as “religion”. How come right now, we cannot deny their existence? The answer is… we (a group of people) created it. We are being a part of it. And so…. we all created it.
Now, I want to make another Truth clear. We are NOT sinners by nature. There is no such thing as “sin”. There is no such thing as “good” and “evil”. All of these are simply our creation. First and foremost, how do you define good? How do you define evil/bad?
Easiest way to know is how people think about it. Our church teaches us that going to church every Sunday is good. My parents tell me that “premarital sex” is bad… thus it is bad.
I see. So if your church tells you that you have to donate to them 10% of our income, you have to otherwise you will be bad? And if your parents tell you that smoking is good… then its good?
No. I don’t think so… but, its really complicated… I mean, I guess it depends on the situation….
You see? You already know the answer. Its just that you keep pushing yourself to meet the expectation of others. Let me tell you another Truth. And that is… there is no such thing as “good” and “evil”. You can prove that using your most reliable source of Truth… which is your soul. How to ask the soul? You simply listen to your “true feelings”. Be careful not to involve your mind in it… because the mind can create “false feelings”. I will explain this in great detail in our next entries. But for now, do know that the Truth is in your soul and you can listen to it by listening to your “true feelings”. If you feel good about something, then its good. If you feel bad about something, then its bad. Thats all there is to it.
But wait, didn’t you mention that there is no such thing as “good” and “bad/evil”?
Yes, I did. I’ll explain it for you with an example. Let us use “killing” as an example.
First, if you dislike someone and killed that person, you might feel good at the beginning. But then, why do you feel guilt? Set aside all your thoughts (all thoughts other people placed in you), how come you don’t feel good about it (as time passes)? The reason is…. killing people because you feel bad about them is not “Who You Really Are”, nor is it “Who You Choose To Be”. It directly contradicts with how you want to experience “Who You Really Are”.
Now, if someone tries to kill your loved one, and you had no choice but to kill that person just to save your loved one. You will feel good and certainly, you won’t feel its wrong. You killed to protect a loved one… you feel good because you get to experience “Who You Really Are” and you chose to be that person. Get the point?
Yes. I think I’m getting it. Anyway, lets stop here for now. Give me time to let it all sink in.
Okay. Your wish is My command. I have always been here with you. Inside you. Everywhere you are. Because I am you, you are Me, before, now, and always.

So, in a nutshell, the purpose of our lives is equal to what we chose to be which is limited to what we think we can do… hmm…kind of cliche. To clarify that, to have a purpose in one’s life one should have a goal. Wow, it sounds just like the philosophy I submitted to the prof. Have you taken philper (philosophy of the person)–must be one of your favs.=P

Master Deryk
Hi Rachelle,
Yes. Indeed you are correct. “The purpose of our lives is equal to what we choose to be which is LIMITED to what we THINK we can do”. That is the reason I am here. That is exactly the reason why I chose to write this blog.
My purpose is to create an awareness to everyone that what we can do is UNLIMITED. Everything is possible for us if we want it to be. Unfortunately, many of us has grown up thinking there are things we simply cannot do (society does not allow us to). Because of this, many of our purpose has become limited. This is not how life is supposed to be. And this is what I want everyone to know.
Our purpose in life… is to experience “Who We Are and Who We Choose to Be”. It is not really about “Who We Are with respect to Who They Want Us to Be”. We all have a choice. Its just that many are taught that they don’t.
Have I mentioned that we are God? All of us are God. God is us are One? We are all One. Thus I help everyone because I am helping myself.
As God, we can do EVERYTHING we want. We can live any life we want. God’s desire is for us to experience His greatness. God’s desire is for us to enjoy Her creation. Our desire is God’s desire. =)
It is only when we truly understand the meaning of “We are One”, that we can truly appreciate life and everything in this world.

The Question
Hi,
“Wait wait wait… are you saying that we are God Himself?
Yes. We are God Herself.”
Comment on this:
How can we be God Himself? I don’t think that is ever possible, because there is only 1 God and no one here on earth is anything near to being a God.
” First and foremost, we are all perfect. Nothing is impossible. Its just that… you “think” you are not perfect and that there are things impossible to accomplish. The reason you think this way, is because what you call “society” made you think that way. Society teaches you that in life, there are “winners” and “losers”. But if you are one of the “losers”, you will feel that it is not right, you feel that something has to be done… unfortunately, you are powerless to do so… because the majority does not care.”
Comment on this:
I don’t think anyone is perfect. There is no perfect person in this world, for it there is, then that person has to be God. We are not and can’t be God. Every one of us must have our own weakness and that makes us human. Humans are not perfect by nature and that is why life is so worth living. If we were all so perfect, imagine how boring the world would be.
” Going back to the point, we are God since we can create anything we want. We can have anything we want. I will give more examples here. Just as it is… there is no such thing as “society”. There is no such thing as “religion”. How come right now, we cannot deny their existence? The answer is… we (a group of people) created it. We are being a part of it. And so…. we all created it.”
Comment on this:
One thing we can’t create: LIFE
Although science has been doing its very best to create human clones or something of the likes, we can never really create what God can. No one can create life and that is why no one has the right to take life away as well.
“Now, I want to make another Truth clear. We are NOT sinners by nature. There is no such thing as “sin”. There is no such thing as “good” and “evil”. All of these are simply our creation. First and foremost, how do you define good? How do you define evil/bad?”
Comment on this:
If there is supposed to be no sin, then we all should still be walking around naked. Nuff said.
Overall Comments:
Self confidence is not a bad thing. But we must learn to accept that there are some things that we won’t be able to do. Even the most intelligent person has his own weakness, which may just not be noticeable. In life, God must be our center and we must do according to His will.
Maybe in your life, you have not yet encountered something that is insurmountable (consider yourself lucky), but maybe that is God’s will for you as of now. But sooner or later, you will probably learn that some things are just impossible no matter how hard you try or how much you want to make it possible.
Peace out!

Excellent question “The Question”
I love it! And as promised, I will provide my answer, right here right now. First, you asked: “How can we be God Himself? I don’t think that is ever possible, because there is only 1 God and no one here on earth is anything near to being a God.”
My answer is this: Yes, indeed there is only one God. But take note: We are God’s creation. How can God, who is Perfect, create something unperfect? =) Its pretty simple really… its because we are all perfect. Its just that… many of us “choose” to be imperfect (and thus believe we are imperfect). =) The key here is to have a “Higher Consciousness” than the ones of the physical and material level. Take note of Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed (the Masters) who has reached enlightenment.
Second, you said: “I don’t think anyone is perfect. There is no perfect person in this world, for it there is, then that person has to be God. We are not and can’t be God. Every one of us must have our own weakness and that makes us human. Humans are not perfect by nature and that is why life is so worth living. If we were all so perfect, imagine how boring the world would be.”
My answer: We all have a weakness, and that is because we choose to have them. Again, look at the Masters… and you will see why they do not have weaknesses… its because they chose to “love” instead of “fear”. They chose to “want” instead of “need”. On the other hand, look at us… we choose the other way around… and thus created our own weaknesses. But then, its alright… to God, everything is Perfect. =) We’re just the ones judging ourselves and looking down on ourselves. =)
You mentioned “being perfect” is boring. Well, thats because you never looked at it that way before. But life, as it is, is already perfect. =) Once again, the key is to have a “Higher Consciousness”. And once again, refer to the Masters. =)
Third, you mentioned: “One thing we can’t create: LIFE
Although science has been doing its very best to create human clones or something of the likes, we can never really create what God can. No one can create life and that is why no one has the right to take life away as well.”
The answer: Yes, indeed we CAN create life. Isn’t that how we create babies? =) And “how” do we create life? We create it by “unity” and “love”. =) I’ll talk more about this on future entries. ^^ Love is indeed beautiful.
Fourth, you mentioned: “If there is supposed to be no sin, then we all should still be walking around naked. Nuff said.”
The answer… haha its really simple. We all have the option to choose. Its just that very very few choose to walk around naked. It really doesn’t mean wearing clothes is wrong. =) Isn’t it?
Finally, on your overall comment…. I respect your words and frankly, it doesn’t matter to me who is right and who is wrong. Bottomline is… my purpose is to create an awareness. An awareness that we are much much more than we give ourselves credit for. I know it is difficult for most people to understand/believe.. and that is why I do not force them to. =)
I am going to be like Jesus. I will become a Master. Nothing is impossible and that is my reality. Its up to you if you want to make it yours too. =) I “want” everyone to see the light… but they don’t really “need” to. =)
Thank you for a wonderful session. God bless and stay healthy. =)

The Question
Hi,
Deryk: “But take note: We are God’s creation. How can God, who is Perfect, create something unperfect? =) Its pretty simple really… its because we are all perfect.”
Comment on this:
True, what God has created is perfect. However because of Satan’s deception, man fell into sin.
“…The woman said, ‘The serpent deceived me, and I ate.’”
- Genesis 3:13
Deryk: “Its just that… many of us “choose” to be imperfect”
Comment on this:
This is not the case. Because of man’s sinful nature, that we are imperfect in God’s eyes.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
-Romans 3:23
Deryk: “Yes, indeed we CAN create life. Isn’t that how we create babies?”
Comment on this:
I believe you have misunderstood my point. I’m pertaining to the very beginning wherein life was made. God is the Creator of all things, and without Him, we are nothing.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”
-Genesis 1:1-2
Deryk: “I am going to be like Jesus. I will become a Master.”
Comment on this:
Can you bear the sacrifices that He has made? He has carried the weight of our sins so that we will be clean in the eyes of God.
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
-John 14:6
In closing, it is not our own “choice” to say that we are God. It is not by human actions and means to say that we are perfect. For this cleansing and salvation is brought by God alone.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
-Ephesians 2:8-9
God bless.

Master Deryk
Another wonderful, excellent, inspiring comment/response from “The Question”. I love it!! Hahaha just a moment ago, I was feeling sick (I’m coming down with a flu), but then after I read the comments, I feel my aura changing. This really feels good. =)
Thus, I won’t force you. For your first comment: True, what God has created is perfect. However because of Satan’s deception, man fell into sin. “…The woman said, ‘The serpent deceived me, and I ate.’”
Anyway, alright.. I will answer them one by one. I don’t need you to believe me, I only want you to.
- Genesis 3:13
The answer here is pretty simple: Man did fell into sin. And this is the reason why Jesus chose to die on the cross to rid the world of sin. And thus sin does not exist anymore. =)
For your second comment: Because of man’s sinful nature, that we are imperfect in God’s eyes. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
-Romans 3:23
Well, pretty much the same answer as the first. Man indeed was sinful before Jesus died on the cross. And now we are all clean. One thing to note though: “..that we are imperfect in God’s eyes”, this is pretty much what society tells us. But try and converse with God, you will surely discover that this is not the case. =)
For your third comment regarding life: I believe you have misunderstood my point.
Yes, I agree with you. Indeed, we are nothing without God, because God created everything. I would like to use this opportunity to clarify something. When I mentioned that we are God, I was referring to our soul. Remember that we are the body-mind-soul. The body and the mind are pretty much limited, but the soul is everlasting. Our soul is God. Or to be more precise, a part of God. We can look at life in this manner.. God created us in order to experience Himself as God.
When God created us… He provided us with 3 gifts. [1] Free Will, [2] Amnesia (thus we forget Who we really are), and [3] Relativity (we cannot know something without knowing the opposite).
For your fourth comment regarding me choosing to be a Master (like Jesus): Can you bear the sacrifices that He has made? He has carried the weight of our sins so that we will be clean in the eyes of God.
Well, I would like to make one thing clear first: That I am certain Jesus did not consider what he did as a “sacrifice”. Or to be more precise, I am certain he enjoyed every moment of his life. Though many would claim that Jesus suffered and that he had a hard life…. well, I guess that is because our mindset is far from His mindset. To be more precise, Jesus has reached a “Higher Consciousness” and most of us still focuses on “Physical, Material, and Emotional” consciousness and thus we find it hard to understand Him.
In my case, I would say I am almost at the peak of Enlightenment. And I have found it through the book “Conversations with God” by Neale Donald Walsch. I would also like to inform you and everyone that I do not “NEED” people to believe me, and that I only “WANT” people to. =) Theres a big difference in it.
Anyway, going back to your comment: Can I bear the sacrifices Jesus has made? Well, I really don’t consider it as “sacrifice”. I guess people have a lot to learn about “what truly matters”. And you mentioned “so that we will be clean in the eyes of God”… but we already ARE clean. Just because the Church claims we are “unclean” doesn’t mean they are right. =) Listen to your heart, listen to your soul… and stop listening to what others want you to think. =) Pretty simple if you choose it to be.
Finally, for your closing… you mentioned: It is not our own “choice” to say that we are God. It is not by human actions and means to say that we are perfect. For this cleansing and salvation is brought by God alone.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
-Ephesians 2:8-9
I would like to thank you for putting so much time and effort in this. I really appreciate it and would say.. you are right. But then again, I would like to make things clear. We are perfect in the eyes of God. If we choose to look at ourselves as “imperfect”, “sinners”, “weak”, “helpless” then so be it. Thats why we have Free Will. Its pretty much your choice and no one would say you are wrong. Same goes for the enlightened ones… we see everyone as “perfect”, “beautiful”, “strong”, “powerful” and so we are. No one is really boasting, there are no “right” and “wrong” in the eyes of God. =)
Well, words cannot show how much I appreciate you for being with me. I am very thankful and am enjoying every moment of this. Thank you and God bless! Live the life that defines “Who You Are” and “Who You Seek to Be”. =)

The Question
Hi,
Thanks for being with me in this conversation. Obviously, we have different thoughts about many things and about what we believe in. But I do hope that despite of the “hot” exchanges of ideas, no one would feel offended. I am merely voicing out what I believe in. =)
You said “The answer here is pretty simple: Man did fell into sin. And this is the reason why Jesus chose to die on the cross to rid the world of sin. And thus sin does not exist anymore.”
What I can say about this is that Jesus did not die to “rid” us of sin, He died to SAVE us from sin. I think those are 2 different things. To rid us from sin is to eliminate sin itself. But to save us from sin is bringing salvation to the human race.
You also said “I would like to use this opportunity to clarify something. When I mentioned that we are God, I was referring to our soul. Remember that we are the body-mind-soul. The body and the mind are pretty much limited, but the soul is everlasting. Our soul is God. Or to be more precise, a part of God. We can look at life in this manner.. God created us in order to experience Himself as God.”
Right here, you said it yourself “Our soul is God. Or to be more precise, a part of God.” Being a part of something perfect is different from being perfect. =)
I still disagree with you on looking at ourselves as perfect beings. Sorry for the term, but if everything is so damn perfect about us and the world, why in the world would we need to have faith in God? It is because of our imperfections that we see God as the center of our lives and thus He should be the only one we must worship. So, in looking at ourselves as perfect, we start to eliminate God from our lives.
For me, we should not look at ourselves in the same league as the Lord. We can never be like Him for there is only one God.
Thank you for the wonderful ideas that you have shared in our exchanges. May you have a good day and God bless always.
June 15, 2007 at 8:10 am
Master Deryk
Don’t worry, you can be certain that I never feel offended. =) My way of life is “Need nothing, want everything.” To relate this with our conversation, basically it means I do not need people to accept my belief, I simply want people to. =)
I will have to agree with you regarding the difference between “rid” and “save” the world from sin. You do have a great point there. And well, perhaps in my next posts, I can help bring light into this topic. =)
When you mentioned: “Being a part of something perfect is different from being perfect.” I will say, I pretty much agree and disagree at the same time. But then again, it will all depend on the perspective (everybody is right).
I would like to once again, clarify something. When I mention “good” and “bad”, “right” and “wrong”, I was referring to God’s point of view. On the other hand, I can see that your “good” and “bad”, “right” and “wrong” is referring to your (and many other’s) point of view “in relation” to your ideals. =) Its very different but nothing wrong about it. =)
You said you still disagree with me on looking at ourselves as perfect beings. Its very much okay. =) Don’t worry. Regarding your question: “If everything is so damn perfect about us and the world, why in the world would we need to have faith in God?”
The answer here is because we are “taught” to be unclean, imperfect, selfish, “bad”, weak by nature. Society teaches us separation instead of unity. It teaches us “might is right” and “survival of the fittest”. It separates “winners” from “losers”. Thus many of us begin to look at ourselves us such. Is this the world we want to live in? Is this how we want our children to live in? Is this who we choose (seek) to be?
Many people doesn’t care. Many lost hope. Many are victims and are crying out loud… but who listens? Who does something about it? Who cares?
This is my purpose. This is my mission. I see all of us (united) as God. And together nothing is impossible. Together everyone can live happily with dignity. Together we can all achieve greatness. Only together can we be closest to Godliness. =) This is the reason why… you find ourselves imperfect… because we are separated… we are broken apart from each other. But we can be whole again… if only we choose to be. =)
Lastly, you said that we should not look at ourselves in the same league as the Lord. And that we can never be like Him for there is only one God. =) Well, I won’t go much deeper regarding this for now. All I can say is that… God is Love. That is probably why many of us doesn’t know God very well… because we have reduced love to “choosing who to love”, “choosing who to care”… when love is supposedly “unconditional and for everyone” =)
I’d like to thank you once again for spending much time with me. I really really appreciate it and just want to say.. I love you all. =)
God bless and spread the happiness! =)

The Question
Hi,
I find in your words that you are lacking the most important thing: which is to believe in Jesus as our personal Savior. In Acts 16:30, the jailer asked Paul and Silas: “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
“They replied, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.’”
-Acts 16:31
And let us put aside the ideas that we have for the meantime, it is more essential to discuss the root of what we believe in. You have mentioned that you found your ideas from a certain book.
Deryk: “I would say I am almost at the peak of Enlightenment. And I have found it through the book “Conversations with God” by Neale Donald Walsch.”
In all of your posts and the excerpts that you have taken from the book, I have not seen a single verse from the Bible used to provide backbone for the ideas you have mentioned. Do correct me if I’m wrong, because based on this observation, I will be assuming that this book is written based on human knowledge.
I would pick the Bible over any other book written by man. In the Scriptures, the apostles were told by the Sanhedrin to stop sharing God’s Word to others. And then..
“Peter and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than men!’”
-Acts 5:29
My point being, we should place our faith in God’s Word over the ideas of man.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.”
-Psalms 119:105
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
-2 Timothy 3:16-17
Why trust something that will pass away over time rather than putting one’s faith that is eternal?
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.”
-Isaiah 40:8
God bless.
June 15, 2007 at 10:33 am
Master Deryk
Thank you very much. =) Sorry, you had to put so much effort to helping me. But I do believe in Jesus and accept Him as my personal Lord and Savior. I am a Christian afterall. =) Its just that I already believe everyone WILL be saved. No matter what your religion is. No matter what you do. No matter what you believe.
God created everything Perfectly. Such that we can never go wrong (there is no Hell). If we want to believe that we CAN go wrong.. it doesn’t matter. =) Bottomline is… shouldn’t we already have complete trust/faith in God?
Thus knowing that everyone will be saved, the question now is… what to do in this life? Thus I created this blog to help people understand. The true purpose in life is to experience “Who We Are” and “Who We Choose (Seek) To Be”. This is true for everything… every situation, every decision.
There is no right and wrong in the eye of God. But there is “right” and “wrong” for us depending on “Who We Are” and “Who We Seek To Be”.
Yes, you are correct that I did not place any Biblical verses in my blog (yet). But it does not mean I am a non-believer. Who I choose to be is…. a person of wisdom and understanding… rather than a person of knowledge. Thus I want to help people learn “how to think” rather than “what to think”. My goal is to “empower” people, and not to “manipulate” people into believing somebody else’s idea. Let us create our own and not let others create our ideas for us. =)
But despite all this… I really am thankful for you being here with me. I am thankful for you sharing what you believe in and for doing what you can to “save” me. =)
The book by Neale Donald Walsch is something I searched for almost all my life. I never knew why I was asking such questions like “What is my Purpose in Life?” “Why are we here?” “Does Heaven and Hell really exist?” and such questions at an early age. I did read the Bible (dont worry, hehe) but I also believe it lacked something. The Bible as we know now… is missing a number of pages/chapters (how much? we really dont know). The reason why it is missing pages/chapters is because there are some things… the “church” (i meant the organization) doesn’t want us to know. Perhaps that is why they discourage people to “think” and they simply feed us with “knowledge”. Its really kind of like.. “brainwashing”.
But there is really nothing wrong here. I do feel that some people would prefer having others think for them. But then again, I also do feel that there are people who seeks a Greater Truth. =) The answer… we already know the answer… we already know the Greater truth… we just don’t accept it, thats all. =)
Once again, I would like to thank you for sharing your time with me. Very very very much appreciated. And let us make the world a better place… by promoting unity instead of separation.. promoting love instead of “selected love”… promoting One-ness… =)
The world is indeed perfect, that is why I find it beautiful.
June 17, 2007 at 6:52 pm
The Answer
I would like to take the opportunity to add something in this interesting discussion. True, the world is indeed perfect, the humans themselves make it imperfect by introducing right and wrong. There are lot of examples that can be mentioned but let’s just take this one instance that clearly demonstrates human divisiveness. We see there are lot of Christian sects these days claiming that their teachings are right — to be fair I won’t mention names. Some even engage in a senseless word war claiming that the other sect’s teachings are wrong. Of course that ended nowhere other than creating confusion and disunity among themselves. Take note, these sects have the Bible that serve as their basis for all their teachings yet they cannot come up with teachings that do not contradict other’s teachings. This simply shows that the people in power take advantage of their position to benefit from their believers. I think this is what Deryk intended to point out that it is the society that created ‘winners’ and ‘losers’. But thanks to master Deryk, we will eventually be empowered to experience “Who We Really Are ” and become “Who We Choose to Be” and that make our world absolutely PERFECT.=)
June 17, 2007 at 7:26 pm
Master Deryk
Hi “The Answer”, umm… thanks. Hehe I appreciate your comment and your point of view. And I very much agree. Its just that… I feel its better if you leave out the “thanks to master Deryk” part. I am just a messenger, not the Savior. hehehe =) thanks anyway

The Question
Hi,
Nice to see that someone else is interested in our discussion. Nice nick by the way “The Answer”, very creative! ^_^
Deryk, you say that the bible merely brainwashes us into letting us belive in its teachings… Forgive me, but I really disagree on this. No one forces us to believe in the words and teachings in the bible and so it is not a form of brainwashing. According to the Kernerman English Multilingual Dictionary, brainwash is defined as
– to force (a person) to confess etc by putting great (psychological) pressure on
Take note of the word FORCE. As you have mentioned in your previous posts, we have a choice. So it is then our choice whether we want to believe in the bible’s teachings or not, hence, we are not brainwashed. The bible is a sacred book and it is there to guide us, to show us the way to Christ. It is like a reference book, much like the book you have just read, where we can refer to if we have questions about life and about our faith.
There are several interpretations of the bible’s teachings as well, and we as readers and believers of it can interpret it in any way we desire to suit it to our lives. Isn’t this the way it should be? The bible and the Church should be our main guide in life for us to achieve unity. The book you just read is also a sugggestion on how to live our lives, I must say, but it seems like it teaches us to live our lives not in accordance to God’s will but in accordance to our own will. If it is a book that should lead us to the road to Christness, is this what it should let us believe in? Is this book not the one trying to “brainwash” people into thinking this way?
The bible was written through the spirit of our Lord and I believe that it should be the one worth giving our trusts to. No offense to the book. =)
The Church as we all know is not perfect too. As I have said in my previous posts, God is the only one perfect in this world. Even the Church, a part of God, is not perfect. =) Yes, you are right that the bible is missing some pages, but is this not God’s will as well? We can think of it this way, if we have all the answers we need to our faith, then there would be no such thing as faith. Some people even question the existence of God right? But this is God’s test for us, we must believe without seeing. This is faith!
Thanks for another wonderful exchange of ideas. And special thanks to “The Answer” for joining us! Hope to hear more from you too. ^_^
No dose of bible verses this time. You may have noticed that I give a dose of bible verses alternatingly. (“,)
Have a blessed day everyone!

Hi “The Question”,
I’m afraid we have a misunderstanding here. I did not say that the Bible is meant to brainwash us. What I said was that… it is the church that is doing the brainwashing. =) Try and read that portion again. Sorry for the misunderstanding. =) Bible is Bible and yes, I agree it is holy. =)
I mentioned that it is the church doing the brainwashing since they (in some way) “reject” stuff. When we “reject”, it is in a way, creating separation (pushing away).
Regarding the book I read, Conversations with God, don’t worry, it does not brainwash people as well. Haha to be more precise, it basically shows us how to think like Jesus. It shows us how great the Masters (Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed) are. It shows us how life is beautiful and everything God created is Perfect. =) Now, tell me… how can that be brainwashing?
Regarding faith, I would like to add up to that. You mentioned “we must believe without seeing”. Yes, that is the “faith” the Church teaches us (some calls it blind). But you see… deep inside many of us… we know something is wrong here (something does not feel right). And I will help everyone understand why.
In the Bible, somewhere in it (of course, i did not memorize the verse), it says “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. And all these things shall be added unto you.” Has anyone really understood what this means?
“Believing without seeing” is acceptable (says the church). But its a different story if you really truly understand the meaning of the Bible (thus we are encouraged to read the whole Bible and not rely on other’s interpretation).
In order to fully appreciate God and everything God created, we have to seek God. We have to understand God. We have to converse with God. Some people does it by praying. Some by meditating. Some by doing what they like (where they are passionate about). Well, we can all converse with God.. if only we choose to. Because God has always been with us. Every blow of the wind, we can hear God. Every sunrise, every sunset, when it rains… God is everywhere. And deep inside every one of us… we know this is true.
Again, I would like to stress out that… I do not need anyone to believe me or even bother listening to what I say. I simply want everyone to. =)

The Question
Hi,
DeryK: “Bible is Bible and yes, I agree it is holy. =)”
You have mentioned the Bible is holy. But I still do not get it why you have been telling ideas that are not in line with the Holy Scriptures.
And the Church is really a debatable subject. I would like to suggest to stick with the root of our sources: the Bible, and your book “Conversations with God.”
Deryk: “Regarding the book I read, Conversations with God, don’t worry, it does not brainwash people as well. Haha to be more precise, it basically shows us how to think like Jesus.”
I could not see how a book inspired by the thoughts of man could lead us to thinking like Jesus. Could you kindly share how the book tells you how to be like Him?
The Bible talks about what it means to be closer to Jesus, how to have a relationship with Him. An example would be how to love your husband/wife.
“Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.”
- Ephesians 5:22
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her”
- Ephesians 5:25
Now that is living in the way of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are unable to be exactly like Him because of our human nature. However, being in a relationship with Him will drive our passion to know more about Him, and to be more like Him.
Deryk: “Haha to be more precise, it basically shows us how to think like Jesus. It shows us how great the Masters (Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed) are… Now, tell me… how can that be brainwashing?”
This is what God said when Jesus was baptized:
“And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’”
- Matthew 3:17
Are you saying that the “Masters” you are pertaining to are considered as Sons of God?
And during the Ascension of Christ:
“After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.”
- Mark 16:19
Does this mean that the ones you call “Masters” are regarded as the ones at God’s right hand?
With the ideas you have gotten from your book, “Now, tell me… how can that NOT be brainwashing?”
Deryk: “In the Bible, somewhere in it (of course, i did not memorize the verse), it says “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. And all these things shall be added unto you.” Has anyone really understood what this means?”
You simply left this point hanging and I would to talk on this.
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”
- Matthew 6:26-27
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”
- Matthew 6:33
The context is with the previous verses. The Bible tells us that we should not worry on what tomorrow will bring. For the Lord will provide. Seeking first God’s kingdom means that we should place Him as the center of everything that we do. Bringing back the glory to His Name.
Deryk: ““Believing without seeing” is acceptable (says the church). But its a different story if you really truly understand the meaning of the Bible”
Again, you are pertaining to the Church. This is what the Bible tells about having faith to believe:
“Then Jesus told him, ‘Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’”
- John 20:29
God bless.

Master Deryk
Whoa! That was fast. I just went out to play a short game of basketball and now you have already provided me with a wonderful reply. =) This is soooo cooooool!!
Okay, I think its best I answer them one by one in the order that you asked them.
[1] You wonder why even though I say the Bible is holy, but my ideas are different. Well, if we really analyze my idea… its not really different. When I read the Bible, I can see more than the words. In fact, I can feel its message. There is more to the Bible than the words written in it. Because if we were to base every Truth in the Bible, have you ever wondered what would happen if the “translator” uses different words to explain the main idea? I guess.. words sometimes aren’t enough to explain what needs to be explained. =)
[2] You said that we should stick to our sources (you: Bible, me: Conversations with God). Okay =) Lets do that.
[3] You asked me: “I could not see how a book inspired by the thoughts of man could lead us to thinking like Jesus. Could you kindly share how the book tells you how to be like Him?” — I will get to this as I write more entries in the blog. Haha sorry, I am not a natural writer. I explain better by communicating directly. Perhaps the fastest way for you to determine, is to read the book and then judge it afterwards. =)
[4] You cited verses in the Bible that gives us “rules”. And you said that: “We are unable to be exactly like Him (Jesus) because of our human nature. However, being in a relationship with Him will drive our passion to know more about Him, and to be more like Him.” — I guess, the better message there would be… “Love” =) Isn’t it? Basically, if we are to look at Jesus’ life. He is a person full of Love. He loved everyone. So… isn’t that enough? If we love everyone.. then pretty much.. we’re already one step ahead of many.. in becoming like Jesus. =)
[5] You cited verses once more and asked 2 questions: “Are you saying that the “Masters” you are pertaining to are considered as Sons of God?” “Does this mean that the ones you call “Masters” are regarded as the ones at God’s right hand?” — The answer is yes, yes. Well, we all can be Masters (if we Choose to be). The Masters are people who are enlightened and sees what is truly essential in the world. They are the ones who sees love/perfection everywhere and doesn’t prioritize physical and material matters. I will be talking about how we all are evolving and sooner or later… will all become Masters ourselves. Though it would likely take us some hundred more lives in order to reach that state. =)
[6] Next, you asked me: “With the ideas you have gotten from your book, “Now, tell me… how can that NOT be brainwashing?”” — do you fear the book? hehehe I just noticed you keep trying to “attack” it even without knowing its contents. =)
[7] Regarding the “Seek ye first…” part, I would like to thank you for enlightening me on that. Yes, I would agree that you are correct since I did not consider the context. =) I really like how you explained it as well. You said: “Seeking first God’s kingdom means that we should place Him as the center of everything that we do. Bringing back the glory to His Name.” — I just hope you truly understood what you just said and is already applying it to your life (consistently). =)
[8] Lastly, you showed us another verse about faith. Thank you very much =) Thats a very good verse and congratulations =)
Thank you for your time. Very very very glad to have you back. =)
